This fully hand forged Knightly Sword features a 9-inch leather wrapped
handle and 32-inch fullered blade. This type of sword was often referred
to as a “Bastard Sword” or “Hand and a Half”. Circa 1400, swords of this
type are typical of English effigies and brasses between 1370-1425.
Though this sword is easily wielded with one hand, It has enough handle
for powerful two handed cut and thrust. The hardwood handle feature a
type T pommel and is wrapped in leather and available in a variety of
dyed options. Black, Brown, Antiqued Green, Antiqued Blue and Antiqued
Oxblood. (Scabbard Included).
