The Temperance is a study in control. Its leaf-shaped blade is engineered and primed for rigid treatment. VG-10 stainless blade is full flat-ground to the edge, then we double distal taper the blade, from spine to cutting edge and from nose to tail. All this hampers resistance and friction when cutting, penetrating or slicing.

The cocktail of distinctive blade shape, superior steel with a full flat grind, work in concert to create a knife that will stand up to harsh use and remain reliable. The handle is bead-blasted mocha colored canvas Micarta-contour milled into a three dimensional handful of gripping options. Inside, a skeletonized tang runs the full length of the handle. Boltaron sheath with a G-Clip attachment system.

Sheath Options:
The enclosed sheath is manufactured from the highest quality materials available for your safety and reliability. The lightweight polymer retains its shape and is resistant to: solvents, chemicals, high-impact, temperature extremes, shrinking and peeling. The sheath equips the knife for belt carry, strap attachment and other portability options. The sheath has a leveraging thumb push-off point allowing you to safely position your hand and then push/release the knife from the sheath.

Belt Carry:
Spyderco sheaths are equipped with a G-Clip. It affixes by way of a tension/spring clip in five carry positions: vertical, horizontal, inverted, cross draw or small-of-back (for shoulder or waist attachment). The G-Clip allows the knife to be carried securely and unobtrusively against the body or pack.
