"From the dawn of time we came, moving
silently down throughout the centuries. Living many secret lives,
struggling to reach the time of the gathering, when the few who remain
will battle to the last. No one has ever known we were among
you...until now."
It is said that the black history of this proud broadsword hides the
sudden violent end of countless immortals.
A truly hard to find collector's sword, this is the original sword
of the Clan MacLeod from Highlander fame.
This is the sword we find Connor using in his flashbacks
back in the old days. It is the sword
of his clan. The Clan Macleod. Macleod used this weapon poorly
in his first confrontation with the Kurgan. Following his death and
rebirth, the weapon was given to Macleod by his good friend Angus.
Angus saved Connor from a burning by his fellow clansman. This
weapon would also become the gravemarker for his wife Heather who died of
old age in the Highlands of Scotland. How fitting that he would leave this sword with
Heather.
In legend, or maybe reality, the Highlander story was born in the Year of
our Lord 1518, in the hills of Glenfinnen on the shores on Loch Shiel,
with the birth of Connor Macleod. Almost a century later, on the
moonlit solstice night in 1592, Duncan Macleod joined his kinsman Connor
in Immortality.
Many centuries later, a production company in Hollywood
called Davis Panzer Productions took on the duty of reviving the
memories of those Immortal Highlanders and produced a series of movies
and TV shows, bringing the lore of this heroic Immortal clan to the
entire world.
To recreate the most powerful and faithful
reproductions possible of the swords used by Connor and Duncan MacLeod
in countless adventures, Peter Davis and Bill Panzer, masterminds of
David Panzer Productions, traveled to Toledo, Spain, historic home of
the world's finest weapons. There, the respected sword artisans of
